Only you own the content and media on your Timeline! Please check out our Terms and Conditions for more details, but we can assure you that the only people who will see your content and media are those you select to do so – and you can select your audience (or not) for each Memory and Moment you upload. We will never use your photos in any way without your permission.

Your MyMeander account is completely private. Only the family and friends YOU invite to each Memory or Moment will see the content of that moment. The privacy and security of your moments and media is a key benefit of MyMeander. We want you to have the peace of mind that comes from knowing that only you decides how private each Moment remains.

Your Timeline goes back as far as you want it to. Most users start theirs from their date of birth. But you could start earlier by just changing the start date, if, for example, you want to save your parent’s memories to your timeline too. It’s private, secure and all yours – you can share Memories/Moments with whoever you wish, or you can have an entirely private Timeline – it’s your call. It’s easy to search and find Memories, and to filter Memories. You can publish your story in a story-book format to gift to a loved one (this feature is in planning). Another key differentiator is that MyMeander is based on a Memory or Moment, and not based on pictures. Not all Memories come with a photograph!

MyMeander is browser based, and is free to use for the first 20 Memories that you record. We do not charge you to create Memories or to store associated photos and files. We have a Premium version with additional features, for which there is a small subscription, with a 50% discount available when you choose to pay for a year in advance!

MyMeander is a web-based app. This means it works best on a computer or a laptop. You have more screen space and can use a keyboard for typing! MyMeander also works well on mobile phones, so that you can record memories and see and share contributions when away from your computer. We recommend using a laptop or computer if you are doing more than just reading a Memory or Memory Bubble.

Absolutely. The free model allows you to build your Time Line as you send up to 20 Memories. You are able to receive any number of Memories and Memory Bubbles sent to you by others as you grow your life story. The Premium subscription includes an unlimited number of Memories, more data storage, a useful search option, and other options to enhance your life story.

Yes. click on Upgrade my Plan (even though you are not upgrading!), and select the Free model (click on "Start Today"). After cancelling, you will be able to continue to make full use of all the premium services until your subscription expires. After that: All of your photos and full-length videos will remain on MyMeander, but you will be restricted to the features and benefits of the Free model.

Yes you can! You can share a Memory on Facebook or Twitter. To enable this go to your Settings and change the "SOCIAL SHARING NOTIFICATIONS" to 'Yes', then Save the Settings (at the bottom). Please know, however, that when this feature is enabled and used, any Memory/Moment you share on Facebook will then be 'public'. Your timeline in MyMeander will remain private though.

Yes – you have full control of your Timeline and the Memories/Moments you create. If you decide to delete or edit a Memory you can. Be aware, though, that if you delete a Memory, you will lose any associated Memory Bubbles. Also, if you shared the Memory/Moment with someone else, and they saved it to their timeline, it will not be deleted from their account.

• is the contribution to your Memory sent back to you by one or more of the people you included in your Memory, or
• is your contribution from you to the person who shared their Memory with you
